Proven Amazon Course Update, Mobile Friendly Site and Affiliate Rankings Drop Breakdown

In Episode 11 of the Niche Site Tools Podcast, I provide a full breakdown of the Power Branding System from the Proven Amazon Course, discuss how you can make your site more mobile friendly for free and I also do a full analysis of why I believe my forever affiliate site experienced a loss in traffic/rankings/sales.

Since this episode was a bit longer than normal, I’m going to keep the show notes on the lighter side this week and let the Podcast do the talking for me. Be sure to check it out and stop on back to let me know your thoughts!

If you are enjoying the Podcast episodes, I’d really appreciate some more great reviews in iTunes! If you leave a review, I’ll be sure to provide a shout-out at the beginning of a future episode. All the cool kids are doing it!  😎

  1. GREAT EPISODE!! Wow – lots of great info. My niche site is suffering in rankings also. I think the freshness of it kept on first page for about 5 months then it settled to bottom page 2 or top on 3. In my research also – it looks like the PBN links are what most are going for – and of course you pay for that :(. I’d love to hear how you continue to research and improve this. Oh and I did a quick search and someone using some of my content!!! Thankfully they are not ranking anywhere near me.

  2. Thanks Crystal!

It’s weird, my site was at position 11 on Friday, then 9 yesterday when I was recording and now 10 today?! Seems strange for it to be bouncing around like that. One other option might be to purchase a link or two from one of those services like directory maximizer. Lots of potential options.

Bummer someone is stealing your content, but at least so far you’re ranking higher still. All this online stuff is certainly an adventure!

  3. Chris,

I enjoyed this episode too. The one thing l have observed with rankings is the new updates Google has been doing. It is causing most rankings to be jumping up and down.

I personally have observed its easier to rank higher when the number of visits to your website is increasing, and only using about 5 – 8 exact match of the keyword in a post or page. Let us know how the changes you implement affect your rankings. Enjoy your weekend.
